Filling gas pipes for families in Rafah camp. 2018
It is a well known fact that the siege of the Gaza Strip has been going on for more than 11 years. As a result the residents of the Gaza Strip are suffering a lot from Israeli sanctions. There is no start or end to their lack of simple life commodities and conditions. The cutting of electricity and water supplies are not the only collective punishment measures Israel is practicing on close to two million people trapped under the siege of Gaza.
There are many other ways and forms of oppression and the difficulties the people of Gaza face in achieving the minimum requirements of life are endless.
A live example to this is the Kerem Shalom crossing, which imports goods from Israel into Gaza, being closed by the Israeli authorities very often. After some field trip visits carried out by the Palestinian Charity Team, in different areas of the city of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, has been noticed that many families do not have cooking gas and are unable to cook meals for their children.
