Cultural activities are among the most cherished events in our community at Palestine Charity Team. In these challenging times, they offer much-needed relief to suffering families and their children. When we gather the children in a circle, clapping and singing familiar songs, dancing to both traditional and modern rhythms, and occasionally drumming, we create a sanctuary where they can momentarily escape the harsh realities of their young lives. It’s a beautiful sight to watch as those who have practiced step forward to share their talents, with their peers cheering them on with warmth and affection.

We often collaborate with talented Palestine circus performers, local clowns, acrobats, musicians, and dancers, Watching their faces transform as they relax and feel safe, even if just for a moment, gives our volunteers the strength to continue this vital work during these tough times.

In the past, we’ve organized field trips and dance lessons, but now, sometimes, even just a simple circle is enough to allow these children to forget the war for a brief moment and simply enjoy being carefree kids. As they should
